What are the fees for booking White Park? +
Charges are specific to each event requirements.
Fees and charges for the current financial year are available on the Upper Hunter Shire Council website.

What size are the stables? +
Stable sizes
- 15 x Brick Stables (2800 x 2800mm)
- 16 x Steel Stables (2980 x 2980mm)
- 156 x Timber Stables (3500 x 3500mm)
- 12 x Stallion Stables (3650 x 3650mm)
What size are the camping bays? +
Currently we only have non powered camp sites which are 30m long by 8m wide and up to 100 sites are available.
Can any camping bays accommodate a side load? +
All camp sites are 8m wide. This is to accommodate if a side load is required.
Can we use tent pegs? +
Yes.
Where can we pitch a tent? +
You can pitch tents within the 30m by 8m camp site bay.
How far is it from my stable to the arena? +
All stable blocks are within close proximity to all competition and warm up arenas. Refer to our site facility map for locations of areas.
Is there catering at the venue? +
This is subject to the event and if the event organisers have arranged catering.
How do I get to White Park? +
White Park is located on Guernsey Street Scone. Scroll down for a map of the area.
Can I tie up my horse at my trailer? +
As a venue, White Park does not restrict this practice, however you may wish to check with your association to see what restrictions they may have in place. Horses cannot be tied to our fences or trees.
Are trolleys/wheelbarrows/rakes/shovels provided? +
White Park does not provide any trolleys/wheelbarrows/rakes/shovels. We suggest that you bring trolleys/wheelbarrows/rakes/shovels for moving feed and gear from the car park to the stables and to remove manure and bedding to dump points.
How do I book stables/camping? +
Go to the Booking stables and camp sites at White Park page for more information on booking through 'Nominate', our booking system.
What accommodation (hotels/motels) are close to White Park? +
We recommend visiting the Upper Hunter Country website for a list of accommodation providers, restaurants, attractions and events.
Where do I order feed? +
Scone has 3 facilities located in town that can accommodate for the purchasing of feed. This includes;
Can I lead/ride my horse on the lawns? +
Horses may be lead, ridden and walked on the lawns (not lunged or warmed-up), to get to and from the competition and stable areas.
How much bedding is in the stables when I arrive? +
Approximately 5 bags of bedding is provided in each stable and this is at the user’s expense to purchase at the time of booking a stable. More can be purchased at the time.
Can I bring a second vehicle? +
Yes, you may bring a second vehicle.
Is stable cleaning by the White Park venue mandatory or can I clean the stable myself? +
: No, stable cleaning is not mandatory and you can clean the stable yourself. However, all stables booked will be subject to a cleaning bond when making your booking, this bond is fully refundable if the stable is cleaned to the required standard upon your departure.
Do I need to have someone inspect my stables before my departure? +
No, all stables will be inspected after the event has finished and all cleaning bonds refunded accordingly.
How do I get my cleaning bond back, how long does it take? +
Your stable cleaning bond will be refunded back to the credit card used to make payment - it will come from 'Nominate'. Please allow 7 working days after the event has finished for refunded monies to appear on your statement.
What is the White Park refund/cancellation policy for stabling/camping? +
All stabling/camping money paid to White Park via the 'Nominate' booking site is refundable less a 25% administration fee. All cancellations made prior to, and during the event will be subject to the 25% administration fee. See our refunds and cancellations page.
Where do I dump my manure and bedding when cleaning out my stable? +
All manure and bedding can be dumped at the end of each stable block.
Does White Park have no smoking areas? +
All White Park buildings are no smoking areas including: stables, sales arena and main arena.
Are there laundry facilities at White Park? +
No
Can I wash out my vehicle when I arrive? +
There is currently no Truck Wash at White Park. You may wash you vehicle at the Scone Regional Livestock Selling Centre at 70 Muffet Street in Scone.
What amenities are available at White Park? +
There are female, male and unisex disabled toilets located in the undercover arena. There are female and male amenities in the Auctioneers ring and the female amenities have 1 shower block in them. There are female and male amenities located in the Pony Club shed which both have 2 shower blocks in each. All amenities will be unlocked for all events. If additional toilet/shower blocks are required, this can be hired at an additional cost upon application of event booking and subject to availability.
